Halifax is transitioning its digital banking services to Lloyds. As part of this change, all new Open Banking connections will need to be established through Lloyds instead of Halifax from 04/11/2026.

Impact on existing connections:

Existing Halifax Open Banking connections will not be affected by this change and can continue to be refreshed as normal until their current consent expires.
No changes to existing Halifax sort codes, account numbers or debit card numbers will occur as a result of the digital transition alone.
Halifax credit cards are not affected by this change. Their branding and card numbers will remain unchanged.
